What is a MLM business?
MLM actually stands for multi level marketing. It is also commonly known as network marketing, or NM for short. MLM businesses are actually a combination of marketing, franchising and selling.
Marketing and selling is part of MLM businesses for you would have to market and sell the products that the parent company offers. Franchising is also considered to be a part of such a business opportunity since you would have to market the product along with the brand name.
Compensation is earned depending on the number of products that you are able to sell. For most MLM businesses, compensation is commission-based. That means, the harder you work, the greater your chances to sell more products, thus, bringing in a larger income.
What products are sold and marketed by MLM businesses?
If you take part in an MLM business, you will be selling and marketing the products of one certain company. That company could focus only on cosmetics or food products. However, there are various MLM businesses available and that equates to various products being sold by them. The list includes footwear, clothes, accessories, cosmetics, toys, books, health care products, houseware, home improvement products, and home cleaners.
