Wholesale embroidered hats offer volumes of discount if the quantity exceeds a certain minimum value. If six dozen hats are purchased at one time, then the manufacturers might offer a 5% discount; for 12 dozen hats the offer might be a 10% discount; for 48 dozen, 20% discount; and for 84 dozen embroidered hats manufacturers may discount up to 30%.
Not only does the purchase price of the hats vary, but so does the embroidery price. For embroidery of up to 5,000 stitches, the hat manufacturers ask for $11.60 each if the order is for 1-11 pieces; $10.30 each for 12-23 pieces; $9.10 each for 24-35 pieces; $8 each for 36-47 pieces; $4.45 each for 48-71 pieces; $3.9 each for 72 pieces; $2.70 each for 144 pieces; $2.50 each for 576 pieces; and $2.40 each for 1,008 pieces. In the same way, for 10,000 stitches the cost is $12.60 each for an order of 1-11 pieces, whereas the price goes down to $3.65 each if the order exceeds 1,008 pieces. For stitches of up to 15,000, the cost is about $13.60 each for 1-11 pieces, and it comes down to $4.90 each for 1,008 pieces. The charges levied by the suppliers may vary, but the cost difference between wholesale and retail embroidered hats more or less remains the same.
Thus, we see that a lot can be saved by purchasing larger quantities of embroidered hats. If embroidered hats cost $19.96 each for a dozen, the cost drops to $13.72 each if bought 8 dozen at a time.
It is always better to get embroidered hats in mass and at a wholesale price from a one-stop shop, which could provide an entire range of design, developing and wrapping programs, because the shops offer excellent quality at low price. Success in the business of wholesale embroidered hats depends upon qualitative services and competitive pricing.
