Welcome signs are generally used in the main entrance door of any building, house, and any other establishment. They are usually hung by the doorknob, but there are also those that are glued to a certain part near the entrance door. Depending on the location, manufacturers provide welcome signs in a variety of languages. English signs are almost always used around the world.
There are different kinds of materials used in making welcome signs. Plastic-coated, wood and tile are some of the most commonly used. Welcome signs are not only seen in structural buildings, they are also used in the entrances of villages to let drivers know the location they are entering. Added to this, a village welcome sign is erected so that the drivers are informed when to appropriately adjust their driving habits.
Another use that welcome signs are widely known for are event venues. The kind of welcome sign used in this occasion is different from the usual ones seen in buildings and houses. Most of the time, the sign contains relevant information of the event that is about to take place so that the guests are properly informed of details. During corporate events, the sign is utilized not only to greet the guests, but also as marketing tools to promote brands and messages.
Welcome signs do not only provide utilitarian benefits – they have an aesthetic aspect as well. Some people prefer welcome signs that are beautifully crafted (such as hand painted ones). Before choosing a welcome sign, you should first consider the location of where you are going to install it. Check all types of welcome signs and visualize which one would most complement the structure of the building. There are many welcome sign manufacturers in the industry that provide many choices with different designs.
