When deciding on a wedding tuxedo, choose a store with a convenient location. Proximity to the wedding site will allow the company to deal with any last minute changes that might arise. The single store operation, while close to home, may in fact not be the best option.
Consider the extent of selection being offered. The wedding tuxedo should reflect the groom’s personality and not some rigid notion on the part of the tuxedo salesman. With the large number of coat styles, vest styles, and other accessory options available, the groom does not have to settle for the second-best.
Look for a company that owns its own catalogue and does its own alterations. This will permit the company to service late arriving members of the wedding party. Ensure that the company has a method for dealing with members of the wedding party who are coming from great distances. This is always a source of anxiety for both the client and the supplier. To avoid any inconvenience, be sure that wedding party members have sent accurate measurements well in advance. Four to six weeks is a practical time frame for members of the wedding party. The exception to this rule would be any small children as measuring them before a month prior to the wedding may not be dependable as they grow quickly.
It is advisable to work with someone who is experienced in dealing with weddings. They should be considerate to the client’s wishes and informed enough to guide him to an outfit, which is graceful, befitting the occasion, and makes the groom feel priceless.
In conclusion, the wedding tuxedo should be the least stressful decision a groom has to make. If he finds a company or store he is comfortable with and communicates his requirements clearly, he will have a fashionable wedding ceremony.
