A virtual office is technically your office wherever you are. There are many benefits that come with having a virtual office. It is less expensive to start. and many overhead costs are eliminated such as electricity. It also cuts out a frustrating commute. You can work in pajamas and talk to your clients and employees, eliminating the cost of expensive business attire. Another benefit is the lower salaries that you might pay your virtual employee in exchange for the ability to work out of a home office.
But if there are benefits, a virtual office also has drawbacks. One is that working on your own can be lonely and you miss the friendship and camaraderie that you develop in a traditional office. You miss the activities that you share with co-workers, as well as the support they can give you when work seems to give you so much stress.
Having a virtual office offers both advantages and disadvantages. It is up to you to decide if it is the best choice for you. Just make sure your needs are met, and you can cope with the changes that transpire in the Internet world each day.
