Stress is one of the several methods through which human bodies react to the changes around them. These are different types of changes that occur in the environment on a regular basis. Several factors such as finances, work environments, domestic problems and health lead to various levels of stress in individuals. Stress is not just inconvenient and bothersome but almost 90% of the diseases in modern times are stress related. Hence, it is very important for all individuals to be aware of its various symptoms to ensure timely actions.
There are both physical as well as psychological signs of stress seen in individuals. Increase in blood pressure is amongst the several manifestations of stress. This is atypically seen in small children and youngsters who are not expected to have high blood pressures. Unusual muscle tensions in the neck and shoulder muscles also reflect a level of stress. It is seen that people who are stressed have trouble in sleeping or at times they remain continuously in a state of stupor. Patients also complain of tiredness without any reason, right from the time they wake up.
At times the patients of stress also exhibit stomach ailments, cramps and heartburn without any underlying medical cause. They are also very anxious about things, show increased moodiness and have a sense of not being in control of any situation. They are also known to have trouble in concentrating on their daily work schedule.
It is important for individuals, showing the symptoms of stress, to learn how to manage it effectively. This is only possible by identifying the sources of stress and taking measures for its remedy. At times friends or family members who are close to the patients can be of help to great extents. In case there are more than one causes of stress, then it is recommended to take actions to tackle each problem individually. This will also help the patients to cope with these stress problems in more prompt manner in future.
