Technology has to some extent impersonalized what is essentially a very personal experience. It takes away from the experience of mulling over and agonizing over what may have been, but does offer an alternative.
There is a certain safety in numbers, and with this kind of Matchmaking the sheer magnitude of choice makes for a happy experience indeed.
