Generally, chemical fertilizers are not required for the proper growth of herbs.
In the US, there are a number of garden seed suppliers. They offer a selection of wide varieties of seeds. They include open-pollinated, untreated vegetable seeds, heirloom and hybrid annual and perennial seeds and flowering vines and savory herbs.
The Internet offers a medium to select appropriate dealers, who also offer garden seeds on at wholesale rates. There are a number of websites that sell garden seeds. They provide detailed information on the seeds with pictures and prices. This is a convenient provision for people who do not have direct access to a local garden shop.
