In addition to this, you will also need good graphics software that can help you manipulate the size of images, create graphics and create special effects for your Web site. Just like Web site building software, it is readily available, but you would most likely have to pay for graphics software. Another important component is a Web host, which is a company that would provide you with server space for your site.
A shopping cart is very important since it is the tool that allows your customers to purchase items from your site. Lastly, a ‘Payment Gateway’ is the tools that would allow your site to accept credit card payments, in relation to this; you may need to open a merchant account with a bank to help you receive payments.
One of the best ways to take advantage of the business opportunities that the Internet offers is to build a Web site that can help you sell products, information and services. To do so, you would need some basic components that can help you construct a site, and more importantly, you will need the willingness to learn how to use these components and the desire to be successful in E-commerce.
