To be a Christian single: a boon or a curse? It can be either. That depends upon how we view it. In today’s world, being a single can be a daunting job. Therefore, research shows that many singles feel out-of-place in places like churches, or even in any other get-togethers. Often, they suffer from dejection, fear, jealousy, and loneliness as well.
Pressure from the outside world often leads singles to compromise on their choices and thus, they end up in a discontented relationship with someone outside their faith, religion, values, and views. Not much help is provided by the churches too, which most of the time focus on couples and related issues. Therefore, singles often feel left-out and avoid church-going.
Dating exists to help us in knowing someone properly; to see whether the person can be our life-long partner or not.
Therefore, dating services exist to bring together like-minded Christian singles. Online dating services allow us to chat, view profiles, videos, and send e-cards and know a person really well before meeting him or her. Sometimes, some provide events like cruise offers and get-togethers as well.
Besides online dating, numerous clubs and organizations organize events which provide enormous scope for Christian singles to socialize and make long-lasting ties with their fellow Christian singles. Dinners, Bible study, concerts, dances, lunches, retreats, etc. form regular programs at such clubs and organizations.
Events such as the aforementioned ones and cruising can be extremely fun-filled, enlivening the spirits of singles. Many singles in their twenties or thirties or even forties frequently get involved in community services and church activities. With the faith that God makes things happen at the right time, singles can enjoy life and indulge in everything that makes them happy. With patience and perseverance, definitely the right person will enter their lives.
Finding the person matching your expectations, values, and faith can be tough, but patience and complete trust in God rewards all.
