Cabo San Lucas was very exclusive to the very rich and powerful back in the time when it can only be reached via water or air. It was then that the first Cabo hotel, Las Cruces Hotel on the East Cape, was built by the affluent forerunners. Through the years however, a highway was constructed and the airport was expanded, opening Cabo to a deluge of tourists the whole year round. More and more people wanted to see the beaches, try the golf courses, and join the fishing tournaments. More hotels were needed to be built to accommodate all the guests. At present, there is a vast selection of hotels to choose from to suit anyone’s needs and budget.

For more demanding guests, they insist that their hotels should have luxurious bathrooms with Jacuzzi, satellite TV, barbeque grill, private balconies and terraces, gourmet restaurants, private parking, laundry facilities, beauty salon, spa and fitness centers, pools, tennis courts and the like. Internet access is a requirement for visitors on business. For a more relaxing and enjoyable stay, a hotel with lush gardens and breathtaking dramatic views of the ocean is the best choice.
From the wide array of hotels in Cabo San Lucas, you will find the perfect hotel to stay in to suit your needs and budget. It really all depends on what you want and need and what you can afford. Gone are the days when Cabo was exclusively for the very rich and powerful.
