Bible Correspondence Courses

Reading the Bible can be mystifying and difficult to get started. Bible correspondence courses are designed to lead students through the Bible. Anyone can undertake a free Bible study course in the comfort of his or her home. The only details required for enrolment are the student’s name and email address.

The courses consist of a series of lessons that begin with Bible survey lessons. Using these initial Bible lessons as a base, the course unfolds God’s plan of salvation for sinners. When students finish the entire series, they would know whether God considers them to be guilty of sin. If they realize that He does, they could embark on their future course of action to receive His pardon.

Several institutions offer free Bible correspondence courses. “Truth for the World” is run by the Churches of Christ. All students are assigned a teacher who works with them as they progress through the curriculum. Once students have finished all of the courses, a Certificate of Completion is mailed to them. “World Bible School” has correspondence courses in print and on the Internet. The courses introduce the doctrines of the Bible, whereby students discover: who and what is God, why they were born, what happens after death, the true plan of salvation, the real truth of prophesied events in our time, the purpose and meaning of God’s law, and other Bible truths. Jordan Park Church Of Christ offers a “Mail-out” Bible study correspondence course for students who do not have Internet access. The course differs from online bible study courses and is available only in the King James Version.

That said Bible correspondence courses are not a substitute for the Word of God, but rather a tool that educates people on the Scriptures.
