Health plans usually depend upon the age and strength of a person. Thus, if a person is young and healthy, he might opt for lower premiums and higher co-pays. However, if you are older and have chronic health conditions, opt for higher premiums and lower co-pays.
Do not automatically select the cheapest plan available. Always weigh the value of your health plan with the price of the policy. It can happen that you might buy a cheap health plan which doesn’t pay for the benefits you need, or you might not get good value for your health insurance money.
